Weddings:

From a musical perspective, a wedding is like a trip through time. It starts with classical music, transitions during the meal to easy listening, and ends with the real party hits. Only accomplished musicians are able to select the right music for such an extraordinary event.    We are primarily a Jazz band, but we also work with Classical musicians (violinists, harpists, Guitarists) that do wedding ceremonies.  We also can turn into a DJ for the last part of the wedding celebration and play pre-recorded party danceable songs for the younger crowd.

Company Parties:
Company parties, formal or casual, are always a special challenge for a band. The Jukes Of Jax are proud of our ability to provide live music that enhances the ambiance of the occasion.  It is important that your guests are able to converse over the music especially in a business environment where communication is vital to the organization.

Live Jazz at Home:

For the Jazz lover, there is nothing better for you than to have your own private jazz concert in the comfort of your own home.  

Here's how it works:   You invite as many guests as you can comfortably fit in your home.   The Jukes Of Jax would arrive and be prepared to perform 30 minutes prior to your guests arrival.  Refreshments may be served prior to the concert - The choice is yours of course.  The band will perform two sets of 45 minutes each with a short intermission for additional refreshments etc.   We will be happy to take special requests from you and/or your guests - but - please - no hokey pokey!  This is your home and your concert, so you can modify the plan as you wish.

Theme Parties, Birthdays, Anniversaries :

Theme parties are some of our favorite gigs.  We play all the holidays of course, but also Mardi Gras theme, Gangster, Hollywood, Hawaii, Jaguar Night, Casino night, Cruise night (without a ship) and actual cruises down the Intercoastal waterway.  Requests to play theme parties at Senior Centers and Homeowners Association parties are always welcome.   The Jaguar party we played was memorable since the Jaguar (Roar) cheerleaders and Jackson D'ville showed up.  Oh yeah - a couple of football players too!

Fund Raisers:

We often get calls for fund raisers and we try to do them whenever we can.  If you are having a fundraiser, give us a call and we will see how we can help.
